


Ms. Alexander has been Chief Executive of RNIB since January 2004 and has been central to ensuring that blind and partially sighted people are at the heart of the organisation.
She has taken RNIB through a process of modernisation and strategic review to ensure that it is fit to meet future challenges and able to combat both eye health and sight loss inequalities. Ms. Alexander has demonstrated a strong personal commitment to cross sector and partnership working both within and outside the sight loss sector.
Ms. Alexander was asked to Chair the UK Vision Strategy Advisory Group and has led and supported the development of the strategy.
She has a long history of working in the Public and Voluntary sectors and, before joining RNIB, was Director of Operations with The Peabody Trust – one of the UK’s largest housing associations and regeneration agencies.
