Announcing the Winners of our First Film Contest!

And the winner is....Macular Degeneration Awareness!

We are happy to share with you the winning entries of AMDAI's first film contest. The AMDAI video contest yielded more than 40 entries from around the world. First Prize is $10,000 (USD). Second Prize is $2,000. And two third prize winners will be awarded $1,000 each. Congratulations and thanks go out to all of the contestants for their hard work and dedication in spreading the word about macular disease and its effects.

The winning video, "Eyes," can be viewed here. It is an animated short video that succinctly and creatively describes the dangers, symptoms and risk factors of age-related macular degeneration. According to the judges, the video was the most effective of all the entries in remaining consistent with AMD message and brand.

The winner: Adam Mosher, a student at the University of Guelph, Ontario, studying English and philosophy.

The judges awarded second place to the entry, "What You Should Know About AMD"

And two third place entries were awarded to "The Blue Haired Girls"

And "Don't Take Vision for Granted"
