


Mr. Melchiorre has served as General Secretary for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness-Italian Branch (IAPB Italy) since 2002.
He is in charge of coordinating activities concerning communication, external relations with institutions, and research. He has extensive experience in managing communication campaigns aimed at a variety of different target audiences in the field of political and institutional lobbying. He also supervises the activities of the Italian National Center of Services and Research for the Prevention of Blindness and Rehabilitation of Low Vision Patients - founded by IAPB Italy and financed by the Ministry of Health.
Tiziano holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and business, and has worked as a consultant to public administrations (provinces and communes) to define and manage projects aimed at developing local areas.
He lives in Rome with his wife Marcella. He has two sons, Luca and Simone, and one daughter, Chiara.
