Age Related Macular Degeneration – or AMD – is an eye disease that causes loss of central vision, leaving only peripheral, or side, vision intact. It usually does not lead to total blindness.
If you have arrived here to read about living with AMD, you may already have been diagnosed with AMD, or you may know someone with AMD, and you are looking for more information and support.
