DR. BRUCE P. ROSENTHAL

Lighthouse International is represented on the AMD Alliance International Board of Directors by Dr. Bruce Rosenthal.

Dr. Bruce P. Rosenthal is Chief of the Low Vision Programs at Lighthouse International, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, and a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at the State University of New York. He is a Diplomate in Low Vision of the American Academy of Optometry and the Chair-Elect of the Low Vision Executive Council of the Low Vision Section of the AOA. He is also Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee of AMD Alliance International.

Dr. Rosenthal was the 2005 Recipient of the American Academy of Optometry's Williams Feinbloom Award as well the first E.B. Bietti Award given in Rome. In addition, he has authored eight books on low vision including"Living Well with Macular Degeneration" as well as lectured throughout the world.
